Food and water safety
Storing, preparing and serving food safely are important to minimise the risk of food poisoning for everyone. This is especially important if you are living with HIV and your CD4 count is less than 200.

There is a Specialist Dietician for people living with HIV at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. If you would like a referral to the Dietician, talk to one of the nurses or doctors when you are in clinic.
